What stores can Bonesaw monitor?
Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, BigCommerce, and Magento. Paste a domain and we detect the platform automatically. If we can't detect it, we'll tell you. No silent failures.
How does product discovery work?
Depends on the platform. Shopify exposes a product API, so we get full catalog access. For WooCommerce, Wix, BigCommerce, and Magento we read public sitemaps and publicly available product pages to build the catalog index. Discovery isn't instant: it can take a few minutes for large catalogs.
What data do you collect?
Bonesaw monitors publicly available product information like price, availability, and product changes. We don't access private systems or require logins.
How often do scans run?
Free plan: once a day. Pro plan: as often as hourly. You can also trigger a manual scan anytime from the dashboard. We don't oversell frequency. If you're on Free, it's daily, period.
Is this a dropshipping tool?
No. Bonesaw is a price monitoring service for ecommerce operators who run real stores and want to track publicly available pricing, restocks, and new product launches. We don't help with dropshipping, counterfeiting, or copying catalogs for resale.
What does the Free plan include?
Free gives you up to 3 watched stores, daily scans, email alerts, and full activity history. No credit card required, no trial expiration. If you need more stores or faster scans, see pricing.
Can I get alerts by email or webhook?
Yes. Email or webhook (Slack, Discord, or any URL that accepts POST). Set up rules per store for price drops, restocks, new products, or inventory changes. Configure it once and forget about it.
