Everything you need to get started with Bonesaw and monitor the stores you care about.
Quick Start
1. Create Your Account
Sign up for a free account to get started.
Visit the signup page and create your account with your email address. You'll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.
2. Add Your First Store
Enter any ecommerce domain to start monitoring.
Click "Add Store" in your dashboard and enter a domain (e.g., example.com). We'll automatically detect the platform and begin indexing all products.
Tip: Enter just the domain without http/https. We support most major ecommerce platforms automatically.
3. What Happens Next
We'll start monitoring immediately.
- • Products are indexed within minutes of adding a store
- • Price checks run based on your plan (daily on Free, hourly on Pro)
- • Changes appear in your Activity feed immediately
- • Alerts are sent via your configured channels (email, webhook, etc.)

Get notified when stores you track change prices, restock products, or launch new items.
Configure alerts in your dashboard settings. Available channels:
- • Email — Instant notifications to your inbox
- • Webhooks — POST to your own endpoints (Pro+)
- • Slack — Direct integration with Slack channels (Business+)
Adding & Removing Stores
Manage which stores you're tracking.
Add stores from your dashboard by entering any ecommerce domain. To remove a store, click the store card and select "Remove" from the menu. Removed stores stop counting against your plan limit immediately.
Understanding Changes
What gets tracked and how to interpret it.
We track several types of changes:
- • Price drops — Product price decreased
- • Price increases — Product price increased
- • New products — Product added to store
- • Removed products — Product no longer available
- • Restocks — Out-of-stock item now available
- • Out of stock — Item became unavailable

FAQ
Which ecommerce platforms do you support?
We automatically detect and support most major platforms including Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, and many others. If a store has public product pages, we can likely monitor it.
How accurate is the pricing data?
We capture the exact prices displayed on the store. Prices are updated based on your plan's check frequency — daily on Free, hourly on Pro.
Can I export my data?
Yes! Pro plans include CSV exports. Contact us about custom plans for API access.
What if a store blocks monitoring?
We use respectful crawling practices and comply with robots.txt. If a store actively blocks access, we'll notify you and suggest alternatives. Learn more about how we collect information on our data sources page.
