Last updated: February 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Bonesaw ("the Service"), operated by MoonsLink, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. These terms apply to all users, whether on a free or paid plan.
2. Description of Service
Bonesaw is a price and inventory monitoring service for e-commerce stores. We crawl publicly available product data on supported platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Wix, BigCommerce, and others) and provide:
- Automated store monitoring and product price tracking
- Price change alerts via email, webhook, Slack, and Discord
- Historical price data, analytics, and anomaly detection
- Product watchlists and CSV data exports (PRO plan)
We only access publicly available information. We do not require or use store admin credentials, API keys, or private data from the stores you monitor.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Providing a valid email address and keeping it current
- Using a strong, unique password (minimum 10 characters)
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, exhibit abusive behavior, or remain inactive for an extended period.
4. Acceptable Use
The Service is intended for legitimate price monitoring, such as:
- Personal shopping and deal tracking
- Market research and competitive analysis
- Price comparison for informed purchasing decisions
You may not use Bonesaw to:
- Automate purchasing, cart sniping, or checkout manipulation
- Engage in price manipulation or market interference
- Harass, harm, or degrade the performance of monitored stores
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or its data
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Service's own infrastructure
- Violate the terms of service of any monitored store or platform
5. Billing and Payment
Bonesaw offers a free plan and a paid PRO plan. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- Billing disputes should be directed to [email protected]
For full details on refunds and cancellations, see our Refund Policy.
6. Service Availability
We aim for high uptime but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Monitoring accuracy depends on the target store's availability, structure, and rate limiting policies. We may:
- Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice
- Modify or discontinue features with 30 days' notice when possible
- Temporarily suspend service during security incidents
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for:
- Missed, delayed, or inaccurate price change notifications
- Data loss, service interruptions, or downtime
- Purchasing decisions made based on data from the Service
- Actions taken by monitored stores (e.g., blocking our crawlers)
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the store URLs and watchlists you create. We retain ownership of the Service, its code, design, and documentation. Product data collected from monitored stores belongs to the respective store owners; we provide it to you under fair-use monitoring principles and make no ownership claims over it.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated terms, you should stop using the Service and cancel any paid subscription.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
